Setting processor affinity

I am not running smp, I am just running the regular tray version. When I set the program to use both cores it uses 50 percent of each core, and when I set it to only use one core it uses 100 percent of that core.


I heard that only one core could be used with this program. Am I missing something? and how should I have it set?


I have a 1.73 ghz core duo (my laptop)

Just leave as was set, it evenly distributes the load across both cores hence the 50% same as for HT CPU's

I generally prefer evenly distributing the load, so the heat in the cores is evenly distributed.
