Ok im lookin to get rid of my beloved CRT and actually make the switch to an lcd. I want a bigger lcd ~22in + but i have always liked the rezolution of a 24incher... i was looking around and dell has some pretty sweet new monitors

There are a coupla variants 21.5 23 and 24in all with pretty much the same specs (im looking at either the 21.5 or 23incher... most likely the 23)

1920x1080rez
5ms responce
170/160* viewing angles
1000:1 contrast
300 cd/m2 brightness

I am just wondering if anyone has had any expierence or any reviews online, i looked all over the place and couldnt find n e reviews.

ASUS now has a 21.5" that's native resolution is 1080p. I'm really curious about this, as well, since I can't really find any reviews.

If it's decent, that'd be quite an awesome monitor for me. I like the 22" size, and more pixels in that size is bonus.

Oh, and I know all of these are TN, but what isn't these days? (That's affordable, anyway) :(

eh TN pannels have become pretty good now adays.... i think i have moved on from the 1080p dell pannels... im lookin at samsung's 2443BW(x) pannels.... 24incher

16:9 is no good for PC gaming really. Unless you can control the aspect ratio the game displays at, you're kinda sunk cuz 16:10 > 16:9 and wont display correctly at all on any of those 16:9 panels. That's the only thing that kept me from buying one recently (aside from the TN panel).
