It's a splash screen thing....

I can't seem to remember what format and term is used to display splash screens in ME...I know it is not .scr
symptom: a freind installed some software, and now has a pic of some d*rky looking dude ....everytime he starts his machine, and the guy looks like he just got out of a dental comercial.
My freind wants to get rid of delete this pic, and I don't know if it is different than win98.
All my tips and tricks are compiled in a box in an attic, and I can't get to it for a few days.
they say that your memory is the second thing to go....I can't remember what the first was.

Any help would be most apreciated, and thanks in advance

Search your system for logo.sys and try to open it as a bitmap. Thats how it was setup in all the releases of Win9x < WinME. I assume its the same in ME also.
