power supply screeching, searching for new one.

Looking to buy a new powersupply for my system. willing to spend up to $100. I usually purchase computer parts from newegg. but if the price is right at another place i can shop there too. Would like to be able to use the powersupply if i upgrade in january to a core2quad or core2duo with crossfire support. plan to overclock cpu, but probably not videocard. gains in realworld gaming from oc GPU seem fairly minimal to me.

also have no problems doing rebates

I would look at Corsair HX520/620. Very good PSU. Rock solid.

Agree with any Corsair PSU but for $70 please take a look at BFG ES-800.

That looks very attractive for the price, anyone have any objections to it?

Thanks for the recommendation guys. Jump on this BFG deal didn't realize the original price according to newegg is $214, even without the rebate still saving a $100 bucks. The rebate just makes it sweeter.

CM,

Here's the review on it:

A "Gold Award" from Hardop doesn't come easily.
