Gaming Computer List!! Please Review Parts :)

Hello - If you could review my computer parts and give any suggestions, that'd be kickass!!

I have the following already:
CD/DVD Drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151173

Hard Drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136320

Power Supply:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817703009

Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...nine%20hundred

I haven't yet purchased CPU, GPU, RAM, MOBO

This is what I've picked out:
Memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231222

CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115202

GPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130398

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...Tpk=evga%20x58

Thanks for reading, and any suggestions are appreciated!!

BTW, will this be good enough to play games like Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 with highest settings on a 1680x1050 monitor?

that graphics card will be more than enough to suit all those games at the highest settings. Just next time though can you just write the parts down instead of the links??? too much trouble for me to go through with crappy internet LOL and much easier for you

Hi,

If you can afford all that I'm pretty sure you can add Velociraptor HDD to your list, it will help speed up load times specially in gaming. And use that high capacity drive as your storage for files or backup.
And maybe upgrade the CPU cooler.

That's just me anyway.

Other than that, that's one powerful system for 1680x1050 res gaming.

if you are getting 4gb of ram then make sure that you get a 64bit edition of either vista or xp but ive heard problems about the 64bit edition of xp though

The PSU is a bit of overkill. You could save some $$ by scaling it back.

Kind of hard to scale back something already owned. The rest of it looks solid, although I don't know too much about the RAM, or X58 mobos. Never looked at them myself or done any research.
