Building without a case?

Everything in my specs just came in the mail except for the speakers and the case. I was wondering if there was anything I could do now that will save me time later when I get the case? Thanks.

Another thought: Is it possible to take the HD out of this my current computer and put my new HD in it and install vista so that when it's all built I can start it without a hassle?

That is possible to do with the HDDs and very time saving but when you put it in your new computer it may ask you to format. not much you can do with out a case unless you plan to go caseless cause to put it back into the case means you have to disconnect all the cables from your PSU and take out all your GFX cards, sound cards etc
