have already tried uninstalling both dvd/cd drives, heres the info i recevied:

Both of my CD/DVDR drives seem to be out of commission showing hardware conflict in device manager. Part of the issue in from an error message I get at boot up "enumerate device win32_cdrom drive fail". Any idea what this is? I've tried uninstalling the drives from the dev mgr and rebooting. No change. I then removed them again, plus unplugging them (not power) & rebooted then reconnected booting back up again. No change. I haven't installed any applications other then Blackberry Desktop Manager a few days ago, but I believe the issue started before then, but one drive at a time.

any ideas?? xp pro

okies its a code39

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

I think this could be related to the ASUS MB and Probe since it might be trying to gather info on the system.
Don't have much detail on that possiblity at the moment.
