File Sharing Help!

Okay, I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but someone please help me out here. I have a Windows Vista Home laptop and a Windows XP Home desktop pc. I would like to share files between the to via my wireless network (both connect to a Linksys router to access the internet). Specifically, I want to move files from my laptop to my desktop...

Can someone point me to an easy tutorial or give me simple step-by-step instructions on how to do this? I have done it between my two Macs and it was easy and intuitive, but this seems to be a whole different story....
