How important is 6GB Tri-channel DDR3-1600 over 4GB Dual Channel DDR3-1333 for i7?

Title states it all, how much performance will I be losing going with a 4GB kit for my i7 920 (lets say its not 1333, even if its 1600)? I dont want to bottleneck anything, I am going to be overclocking my CPU, but DDR3-1600 6GB is SO expensive !

For example, Corsair DDR3-1600 6GB (3 X 2GB):

Or this, Corsair DDR3-1600 4GB:

The 4GB set is rated at 1.8v. I think that RAM wont work with your new i7.

not to be mean but that is cheap!! i remember paying $250+ for a 2gig kit of DDR2-800, $180 is nothing for 6gigs. i posted some i7 reviews either in some i7 cpu threads or the mobo threads. they compared dual DDR3-1600 vs tri DDR3-1333, the DDR3-1333 tri was slightly higher in raw bandwidth. in gaming it didnt make much difference, dual channel is more then enough. im not sure why some get caught up in the tri offering that i7 brings. Could be intel's way of getting use to by more DDR3 to help drive down cost faster. *shrugs*

Okay so a 4GB DDR3-1600 kit is more than enough? I have no clue why I need 6GB, this tri-channel thing is killing me...
