So far ive gotten NES SNES and PSX emulators on it. So i can play any of the games for those systems. Havent bought any of the games from apple yet. My only complaint so far is that apple is a huge con-artist. There prices are inflated and they charged me for the update to the Ipod's software (which is utter horse *****). Downloaded the update, jailbroke it, and now its a little dream machine. There is a ton of apps for this thing. I cant see buying a psp when you can get an Ipod Touch or Iphone which does so much more.

U have to unlock your iphone or touch and then u can download firefox onto it, surfs much better then safari. Allows you to play flash videos. Not full featured firefox, but much better then safari.

Ill post the links to the tutorial,

First determine your firmware version to jailbreak your Iphone or touch (this allows third party apps to run on it)

mine is 2.2 so i used this tutorial:

http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/...d.php?t=115155

if you have an older firmware google your version

For firefox you have to have firmware 2.0 or above, here is the tutorial for adding firefox

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KguJ4wcHOco

the jailbreak adds alot of awesome stuff if you havent done it.

Ahhh that was going to be my question. I was pretty sure they had not gotten to the 2.2 touch yet...too busy JBing the newest Iphone.

When I could pry it away from my daughter(Its her xmas gift) Its a blast even un JB.

Went to 2 family members house for parties in the last 3 days and 2 of them have open Wifi....Suggested they correct that.

Firmware 2.2 and Ipod Touch 2nd gen are a different thing. 2nd gen actually has some hardware changes. My ipod touch is firmware 2.2 and jailbroken. If you have a 2nd gen Ipod it has volume buttons on the side and a built in speaker.

I'm getting very tempted to upgrade from 1.1.4.

But that's not Firefox.. It's just a theme..

Yeah, it is a theme. 2.2 gave me alot of stuff so it was worth the 10$ price tag. (still complete BS you have to pay for a software update though)

Right I have not checked the version...but yes its the new one with speaker and volume.

Good free apps for kids are the Air hockey, bubble wrap and the popular Tap Tap revenge(Which I stink at)

The Pull my finger App is useful at parties.

Has any one tried these headphones with built in Mic they can be used with the 2nd Gen Ipod touch, there are a couple of Apps like Ocarina that would be great to use. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB...mco=MjE0NDgxMg

Is that the same as the Whoopee Cushion app or something different?

Different but the same. Why have an Ipod a phone and an electronic fart machine....When you can have all three?

I see the Ocarina App is not ready yet. They don't know how folks are going to hold the Mic in place.

Some one needs to make a headphone/mic just for this App.
