Remote control through ethernet?

I would like to control my computer via an ethernet connection but I don't want anything at this end except a router, monitor, keyboard and mouse. Is it possible to do inexpensively?

They make KVM switches that use ethernet.

do you have vista business / ultimate or xp pro?


there is a RDP server you can use, if not Log me in would be the better of the choice.

if you can't use remote desktop on another computer, you could try something like this:

it isn't exactly cheap though.
