Im about to order one for my brisbane, so I can get a higher OC. I will consider using this HSF fora Phenom or PII in the future if it will suffice? I was wondering what the diff. is between the two models, the "7" and the "64" besides price.
And how much lower will my temps be than with my current Rosewill RCX-Z1?

I also already ordered some AS5, I will finally be able to see what all the hype is about.

Doh! I thought I checked that and I was sure both could do both. Thanks!

Anyways.. I have done lots of searching on this topic but I still have a few questions. Would the AC 64 be a good step up from my current HSF? Would I be better off getting a XIGMATEK model? Im just not sure if they would fit in my case! That is really my only concern, besides cost. But I do plan a CPU upgrade sometime in the next couple months.

well i've never tried the current one u own but i had great luck with my freezer 7 pro. it kept my quad cool even when overclocked. but i've since switched to water and that was 5 months ago now.

The A/C Freezer is a good cooler for Brisbane core CPUs. My Freezer keeps my X2 4800 at about 48-50C at 100% load with a core voltage of 1.5v. The Xigmatek 1283 will probably keep the processor a few degrees cooler than the A/C Freezer.
