I recently had a mishap with audiodg.exe, I was about halfway through watching a movie on my pc and vista's audio management executable decided it would crash. My first instinct is to ctrl+shift+escape and check to see what the hell happened, turns out audiodg.exe decided to take up 1.6gb of my ram before rolling over.

Some quick googling revealed that audiodg.exe was invented as a place for 3rd party applications to load in special effects or other modifications to the audio stream, the only things i have installed recently are fraps (not running) and visual studio, which i dont think is the problem.

Any help is appriciated.
