so i am going to move north to live with my aunt and go to school in washington (many more places in washington) but i'll be going back and fourth between here and washington a bit i am sure.

now i am not exactly sure what i am going to do for a computer but i know i would like to have a desktop while i am up there. i may keep the one in my sig attached or i may swap components everytime i go from here to there oe back and fourth or might completely disassemble this one here. i have a laptop, but i would like a real computer because well...games and storage and stuff.

so heres what i have come up with: hopefully this works this time.
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=9601612

the processor and heatsink were just kinda thrown in there as a backup incase i killed this processor but i am not opposed to getting a decent cheap one.
this wishlist is what i would like not necessarily what i would wind up with, i know for a fact i want that case, PSU and Mobo. the case is $80 since its out of stock at the moment.

any way i would like to keep it cheap but have quite a bit of room to upgrade. my game playing varies from old games to the newest available.

what would you do? swap components, gut the current computer or go all new?

one of my main concerns is the videocard. nvidia is ****ing me off but they are still an option, i was kind of aiming for a set up where i could easily add another card later on.

i dont think heat across the videocard(s) is going to be a problem, in the case it has a 120mm blowing in from behind the cards and the PSU will suck air up from the slot area and blow it out the back, i also picked those videocards because they pull air from inside the case and blow it behind and up twards the PSU.

i'm not sure what i am going to do about the CPU (might hack out room for a ninja)

well i came across this case

to me it looks like one of the best SSF cases right after the NZXT's

the 4850 will run rather hot unless you up the fan speed. this will though increase noise, but given the layout of that mobo. i would go with this GPU cooler

if you go with NV then you are stuck with runing only a single video card. in which case i would switch to another cheaper mobo. however i would switch to a single GPU solution anyway. seeing as how NV is releasing a new X2 video card next year...

the main draw back with your computer i see is the cpu, even at 1.9ghz with ocing. it is looking like what 3.0 tops for a oc? i would then suggest the new X2 7750 black edtion, 512kb x2 then 2mb L3, only $75.99.

uhhh the case isnt going to change, thats the final word on that i really like it, and its still available else where and even cheaper else where too.

the processor, like i said in the first post. was a replacment incase i killed my windsor in the system in my sig, for some reason it made it into my wishlist but i wasnt planning on it. if any thing i might use it in this computer untill there are 45nm AMD X2 cpus. its either that or swap this with the windor and use the windsor in this new computer and then change to 45nm later on
