Do you think the prices will drop anytime soon?? or should I just buy something now??

I'd definitely buy now, the low prices we had a few months were because supply was 2x greater than demand and now that mem fabs are closing and online stores like newegg are cutting way back on inventory prices are going to get higher and higher.

are you planning on a new pc build? If you're gonna go socket 775, you might as well just buy now. (unless someone knows about an upcomming price drop).

I dont know when newere ATi tech is coming out...

for cpu/mobo there's no real need to wait as gabkicks said. But if you're talking about video cards, I would wait until nvidia releases it's new video cards this month. Bound to push down prices a bit on its older cards and ati will have to lower their prices accordingly.
