Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a cheap (inexpensive), preferably under $550, notebook.
Here are some (preferred) specs:

13.3” – 15.4” screen
Network card with “1000 T-base”
Quiet as possible
Not pink
A processor with some “Get-up”
a good graphics card. (for the price of course)
Intel is preferred but I AMD will work.

This notebook is primarily going to remote desktop into my other desktop computer. This one is a lot more powerful. It's basically going to be used for internet, some youtube, and note-taking. It has to be quiet, as I don't want a loud computer in class. But I would like a fast network card if possible. I don't really care about the brand, as I have fixed dozens of notebooks with various problems so I'm not woried.

It would work well for me, just no “1000 T-base”.

Unfortunately, I will be wiping any computer that I buy and put my version of Vista Ultimate x64 on there. I don't want Home Basic as it's crap.

Any suggestions?

It would be silly to not buy a dual core laptop this late into the game, imo.
