As per request and also to help us out to see which system boards, ram sets, cooling, etc play nicely with PII here's a thread to help us do just that. This is ONLY for results.
Any discussion can be had here or your more then welcome to start your on thread if you need serious attention with you system.

Example of a result. We will need your system components.

CPU = AM2+ 940 Phenom II (stepping would be nice)
mobo = Asus M3A79T - Deluxe
Ram = 2x1gb PC6400 g-skill 2GBHZ (d9's)
HD = 2 x 74gb raptors in raid-0
PSU = Corsair 520HX
PCI-e = PNY 8800gt
Cooling = Stock HSF or True 120 Black
Cased system or open bench table or put in the freezer

Then we will need the best you got out of it. A screen shot would be best for this. It would be best to have the result being a stable one. If you would like you can post a max benchable result also to go with the stable result also but be sure to keep all the information in your one post. Try Not To Put More Then Two Results In Your Post However. (i.e. stable overclock and max benchable)

For Screen shots be sure you include two cpu-z's one on the cpu tab and one on the memory tab. Also a superpi or wprime run in there would be really nice at the least. Any other benchmarks you would like to include in the screen shot would be great...

AC's PhenToo on a DFI (Dragon Fly Incinerator)
3.2 Passed 1.39Vcore, 1.25V NB -(ran fo one week gaming, folding, ripping, surfing, sleep mode, off at night. Not cold bugs, reboots or crashes.
3.3 Passed 1.4Vcore, 1.3V NB, ---OCCT and 3 hours folding. CURRENT SETTINGS

Now that we know about the NB, I doubt the 1.4VCore is needed and will test that.

PhenOne - 9850BBE 2.55G - Cinibench = 9915

Phentoo - 940BBE 1.250V. 3.0G - Cinibench = 12547
Phentoo - 940BBE 1.250V, 3.22G - Cinibench = 12818
Phentoo - 940BBE 1.325V, 3.3G - Cinibench = 12986
Phentoo - 940BBE 1.400V, 3.4G - Cinibench = 13247 - 35 Mins of Orthos on 4 cores
changed to Cosair XMS2 CL4 until I get the new GsKills.
Phentooy-940BBE 1.456V, 3.6G - CiniBench = 14488 - 30 Mins of Orthos on 4 cores

1.4V booted at 3.6G but did not survive Orthos, reboot

Temps are stying in the low 50s max. 3.4G mostly stable at 1.4V is good. So far it's tracking about .5V above my Kentsfield.

Well i've been working all night long on this thing, It's hard adjusting to learn how to OC a Phenom. I've tried as hard as I can to hit 4ghz with it on my Lapped True Black 120 Dual S-flex setup. It's an incredibly fast system! I can get it in at 3.9 but 4.0 is simply a no go, i've even tried a run at 1.6v (was idling about 40c) I'm sure I can get better with it by learning how to mess with the north bridge and such.

THe one thing that's seriously bothering me is the fact that I can't run Dual Channel. The true sits too low and my Corsair Dominators are just too tall

I'm going to shut it off for the night and let the poor thing rest. enjoy!

Max load temp using Core Temp reading with Intel linpack test 64 bit at 56C.

ECC enabled, CPU Tweak Enabled, CPU Instruction Prefetch Enabled

Stablity testing in progress. So far it has passed 5 Intel Linpack Stres Tests with full memory enabled.

Still dealing with some motherboard issues, but I've arrived at a new stable record... previously it was 3.6, now we're up to 3720... motherboard still has some issues, I'm gonna be upgrading to a Biostar TA790GX soon to resolve this. I have booted into windows at 3900MHz and 1.55v, but it would get too hot to test, I think it would be stable there at 1.6v.

On stock cooling and voltage, I got to 3400 MHz, 200x17 with it seemingly stable, I'm quite confident the computer resetting at 1hr 10 mins on prime was due to a really high accidental NB voltage that has since been corrected.

3720 MHz @ 240x15.5, 1.5v
HT@ 2160 MHz
NB @ 2160 MHz
Memory @ 480 MHz, 5-5-5-15-26, 2T 2.0v

Well I have a stable system @3600mhz, X3 710 and A79A-S running at 277 fsb with 1.52 vcore. It seems like it will go higher without any additional vcore increase. Will see later on. I am enjoying this for the moment.

ChristmasGT Member Join Date: Sep 2004	Well i've been working all night long on this thing, It's hard adjusting to learn how to OC a Phenom. I've tried as hard as I can to hit 4ghz with it on my Lapped True Black 120 Dual S-flex setup. It's an incredibly fast system! I can get it in at 3.9 but 4.0 is simply a no go, i've even tried a run at 1.6v (was idling about 40c) I'm sure I can get better with it by learning how to mess with the north bridge and such. THe one thing that's seriously bothering me is the fact that I can't run Dual Channel. I have booted into windows at 3900MHz and 1.55v, but it would get too hot to test, I think it would be stable there at 1.6v.
