socket P quads?

alright so i thought i would taek a gander at faster processors for my laptop and its a socket P, its a P7350 as well and not a Txxxx.

i was crusin through the processors at new egg and i expected to find some quads but i havent seen any.
do socket P quads exist?

not that long ago intel announced the Q9000, which as you can see is both retail/oem. the Q9100 is only OEM, so you may have to hit up ebay or some other place for one. ok, so i did a froggle search...

hmm ok so for about $400 you can get a 2ghz quad for your lappy. doesnt seem to bad when you look at some of the dual cores still at around $250-$300. this would be the case where higher clock speed cant be had so add more cores..
 
yea the P model of cpus is a 25watt TDP, the quad is 45watt TDP. the Heatsink may not be able to support that kind of heat...
