My first time clocking this picture is at full load, now can anybody tell me if theres anything wrong here to hot? Can I get more out of it?

Theres one slight problem what im noticing the pc probe warning messages there are flashing to zero or going red for about one second im thinking its maybe because the voltages are set to auto on the bios and its adjusting its own every now and then.

Just some adive please im using a artic 7 pro and artic mx2 thermal paste.

Your temps are OK for now and you can definitely get more out of it. You might want to post your complete system specs + the voltages you're currently set at in the BIOS so we can help you tweak your system to the max.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz 64nm (oem, 775) in cpuz it says revision B2
OCZ 2GB PC2-8500 SLI-Ready Edition (4x1GB)
Asus Striker Extreme 680i 775 ATX
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO

All voltages are set to auto.
 
K im now using these voltages after a little research

Vcore Voltage:1.4250
Memory Voltage: 2.2
1.2v HT Voltage: 1.35
NB Core Voltage: 1.40
SB Core Voltage: 1.5
CPU VTT Voltage: 1.35

Now the question can I get more?
 
What temperature should I not go over with my b2 revision e6600 reading the comments someone said 70 should be the tj max? I don't really want to damage my chip but do want to push it far enough to get the most out of it. I dont go over 60 degrees with a tj set at 70?

Im using orthos to stress cpu with gromacs core? Using it now its at 35 & 32 full load and idle at 17 & 16 at 3150.mhz that seems low

ps. Its so conflicting reading posts on forums about this the amount of different tj max settings is so varied no one seems to know not even intel themselves.

Rule of thumb is, at full load, on the hottest day, you don't want to go higher than 15 degrees below Tj. max. If the current room temperature is, for example, 10 degrees lower than what it is on the hottest day, add 10 degrees to your temperature.

The absolute temperature is not important at all. Just the distance to Tj. max.
 
Your temp is fine I say just keep stress testing your cpu and if it is stable push it up a little and repeat until your system becomes unstable..once it is unstable raise your vcore a bit..but I won't go above 1.4v on air

Run the Small FFT test & see if it still fails. If it does you need to add vcore (most likely), if it runs fine then the problem is with your RAM, or possibly the NB voltage. Running 4x1GB can be very hard on the northbridge & can be a pretty severe FSB wall.

Post a screenshot of CPUz's Memory & SPD tabs.
 
Yes it failed small fft :(

Then raise the vcore a tic or two & test again. It's been a while, but I recall my E6600 needing about 1.425v or 1.450v at 3.4GHz.

Looking at your screens, I see the vcore is set @ 1.39v, but CPUz is reading 1.31v. That's a pretty big drop/droop.
 
Had to take it to 1.450v to get it to run would you advise me to push it anymore from this screenshot? I tried 1525 and it failed within a minute.

You look to be temperature limited now with the CPU at 60C. Seems like 1.450v is a spot for you at this speed. :)

Why is the motherboard reading 49C? It should only be in the mid-30Cs if you have good case ventilation - and don't live in the desert. Lowering that will lower your CPU temp & give you more headroom. Describe your case fan layout, such as rear 80mm fan blowing out, side 92mm fan blowing in, etc.
 
I have no clue I noticed it also just thought it was normal, I also have a pci slot cooler near my 8800 and this is my case

I see a 120mm rear that should be blowing out & a side 120mm that should be blowing in (I looked your case up on newegg ;)). I'm guessing both those fans are running? Does the PCI cooler draw in air from the back & blow on the 8800?

You also have a spot for adding a front fan at the lowest HDD cage. That intake can be blocked if the case is sitting on carpet though.
 
no the pci fan just blows air out it seems fairly cool when I put my hand to the back.
