Please help me! This works out a little over budget. My budget was £650-£700 ex VAT. I want to get a build as close to the Dell price to give me the confidence to go ahead with this.

1) I want it to be CROSSFIRE/SLI ready.
2) Is everything compatible?
3) Please recommend a different part if it is better for the same price or better and cheaper.

Thank you very much!

That Mother Board will work, only thing I see is that it is only Crossfire at 8x/8x. This board might be a better option but it's a few dollars more.

it's 16x16.

If you going with that case, you will needto buy case fans as they do not come with it. I would suggest going with a name brand if possible. The antec 300, Cooler master 690, or something along those lines work great and are cheap.

The link for the video card you provided is to a HD 4850.

also dont just stick to one retailer search around for the lowest price

ive replaced the motherboard and the case with your 2 options.

it some to about £100 more than my budget though, but is it a good build?

1. I've never encountered that case before, but it looks to be a good case. Look into a Cooler Master 590 or antec three hundred. They're very reputable cases with similar features.

2. Processor is fine

3. PSU is fine

4. Do you plan on going X-fire in the future? If not, then your original motherboard will suit your needs fine. If you do plan on going X-fire, then there are plenty of other motherboards that are cheaper than the one suggested that should suit your needs fine (unless you require a specific feature).

c. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128374
etc. etc....go onto your preferred vendor and do some searching.

5. The HDD looks fine

6. DVD Drive looks ok, compare vs Lite-on, LG and Samsung pricing.

7. Go with the G.Skill, they are faster modules for the same price.

8. Your GPU selection is fine depending on your needs. It'l operate best in a high resolution/x-fire environment. If you don't plan on running at 1680x1050 or higher res settings for your games, then a normal 4870 will work nicely.

9. Consider, if you plan on OCing your CPU at all, an after-market CPU cooler.

The build looks well thought out and should work great.
