i7 at full load as a space heater!!

This is funny. My gas got cut off today, so i'm without heat. I was stress testing my i7, and it has kept my room at 70 degrees farenheit when it's 50 outside!!! I guess that it's true that computers can be used as space heaters lol :beer:

now you just need to sell computing time to make up for the cost of electricity and you got free heat

I leave the window open about 6" in my office, and it stays about 65F in there. Of course, I've got the heat vents and the door closed to that room.

Yah it got cold and I sold all my good heat producing equipment.

Of course its a good deal colder here, up north.

Yeah, i just thought that it was neat that i can keep my room warm off of my computer alone. I really have nothing else in here producing heat besides me.

Oh, the computer is stable! It's been stress testing or close to 40 hours now... i'll turn Prime off when the heat gets turned back on lol
