GTX 295 Problem? Hard Locks

I have a new GTX 295 on my Biostar Tpower P45 board. The problem is it hard locks when I run any 3D application. It shows two gpu's in the device manager. It shows two gpu's enabled in GPU-Z. I have used driver sweeper and tried multiple video drivers, and nothing works. PS. If I disable multiple GPU setup in the Nvidia control panel I can run Vantage and Games??

I ruled out a DOA card because it works on my brothers X58 setup.

Any advice would be apprecited

You can run games, but will only be using 50% of its maximum power, which is basically half way between a gtx260 and gtx285.

I get hard locks in vantage, which just ends up cutting out the video signal altogether so I cannot run it most of the time. I have since only been able to run it twice.

My guess: Driver problem. Make sure you get the latest beta drivers.

I am using 182.22 I believe, and still locks up. Also happens in World in conflict. About to test call of duty world at war, will post back results

Back - Call of Duty is a no-go. Looks like Nvidia still need to work on drivers...
Luckily most of my games work. It is obviously a driver issue - crysis runs fine, WIC doesn't, all source games do, call of duty doesn't etc.

Goodie, if I am to enter the forum wars I need this fixed. 3DMark 06 locks up occasionally, not as much as vantage though

EDIT: It works! It fixed all my previous problems!

I think my GPU's are getting too hot on 65% fan speed. My pc will hard lock in Call of duty after a while of continuous gaming - never within the first 45 minutes.

With 85% fan speed I get load of 65 and 67 on Call of Duty, maximum was 70C for a second before falling back to 67C

what i thought was artifacts is just driver issues. I have been able to clock both cards to
650/1400/1200
