AMD 4450e x2 a bottle neck for 8800gt sli?

AMD 4450e x2 a bottle neck for 8800gt sli?


as the title states, is my cpu the bottle neck and what would be a good choice for a new am2+ cpu? here is my current setup

ARock k10n750sli
2x evga 8800gt
8gb gskill pc6800 (got for the windows 7 x64)
AMD 4450e x2

If you can, get a phenom II 920/940, or the new X3's as these are a big improvement over their previous cpu's.

can't you just give a simple answer like : "Yes it will bottleneck" or "No it won't bottleneck your card"


but yeah , Jeepson it will bottleneck your cards

I found that that my SLI'ed 8800GTs scored 2,000 points better in 3DMark2006 going from my stock E8400 @3.0GHz to 3.825GHz. The 8800GT is still one mother****in' powerful GPU. Upgrade to a Phenom II!
