Hi all,

just installed my new motherboard (ASUS P5Q) and installed PC Probe 2 that came with it. I'm getting different temp readings on Core Temp. At idle Core temp is 38deg and PC probe is 26deg, under load Core temp is 57deg and PC probe is 44deg. which one is correct?

Just downloaded speedfan and realtemp (Tmax setting 85deg). Here's a screen shot.

Which one is correct?

I'd go for RealTemp because the developer don't go blindly after Intel TJMax specification.
But the only value which is important for your CPU is distance to TJMax. Keep it >20-30 and you're fine.
