Overclocking Q9300

I am having a hard time getting my Q9300 to overclock to 3.0Ghz. I am following the guide in the sticky above about over clocking. The highest setting I can get it to is about 385x7.5 (2.9 Ghz) to get into windows.

Once I start pushing past that limit it will post but sometimes the windows screen freezes before I can login, or it lets me login then it restarts itself. What am I doing wrong?

Is your ram running a 1:1 ratio? You may want to try running memtest to make sure the ram is stable.

What are your temperatures under load (and idle)? Use a program like Core Temp to check them while running Prime95 or something else that will load the CPU.
