newegg and tigerdirect have great prices on Prebuilts ...

if the prebuilt has 4 gb of RAM , i recommend either XP 64-bit or Vista business and up 64-bit..

the problem i have with a prebuilt , is they have crappy components.
and sites that build custom pcs are wayyyyy overprices..

try this site,
http://magicmicro.com/
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...CatId=31&name=

and may i ask what your budget is?

Where are you located PChells? (if you don't mind me asking) Perhaps there is someone here that is local to you, that might be able to personally lend a hand.

The proces is intimidating, but doable, as evidence by the numerous members here who completed their builds before even getting a drivers license. Some have even broken records.

How much do you want to spend, and what are your goals for the computer? Even if you do not build it yourself, it is good to be able to figure out what you need, price it out, and compare to quotes you get from builders.

pre-built and cheap don't go together.

Get a Dell for $400. Then add a Video card for $100. You are done, and it will play WoW just fine.

If your main goal is to play WoW, then you can build a PC from scratch for around $400-600.

Yea, that budget should be fine. NCIX.com or newegg.ca are good Canadian online retailers for components.
