Its a "he said, she said" issue until courts get involved and look at the actual contracts.

To be honest, its really just Intel wanting to get some heat off themselves. Even if they did yank AMD's x86 license, they would completely screw themselves over with AMD yanking their 64 bit license.

Why not ? Have you not seen what they are saying over in the AMD section / I just wanted it to be a level playing field is all . I think AMD is being very sneaky and underhanded .

I think there will be an intel vs amd war soon lol... They both have been sneaky in the past, when intel does it AMD fanboys always throw insults, and vice versa. When will it end!

I think this thread is redundant. There are already two threads on OCF regarding this subject, there is no need for a third.

Your thread title is misleading. You're stating it like it's fact that AMD did it, when it's only intel accusing it. AMD isn't being sneaky, they made it fully known they were starting the foundry company to make their chips, it's been in the media since it was proposed.

For once, I agree with you. They have developed a habbit of posting Intel stories over in the AMD section fully intending them to become bash-fests. Why not do the same thing over here?

Both you and intel cannot prove it's a breach of agreement, and intel unlike you has millions of dollars, if they believed it to be true, this would have been in the courts already. Intel, just like you is making alot of noise about nothing.

32-bit is starting to look pretty old, 64-bit is where it is at, I don't see this
going anywhere.

intel is an evil company, it also just so happens, they have a good product for the time being. and what some of the the amd guys do over there is what they do there.. it doesnt mean everyone who runs an amd wants to read that.. thats why there is a general cpu section, for topics like this.

and say what? how old are you?

why are you getting so defensive? i think youd better just step away from your screen and take a breather, you are getting way to emotional about this.

because people call Intel evil and then Praise AMD like they are some saint angel sent from above when anyone with half a brain knows it is not true.

Both companies are evil, in their own respect.
