OMG ITS BIGGGGGGG

its interesting that some EE's left thermalright to make their own company... good thing they did, now lets see who in the US stocks that thing first!!
Very nice but I think they have reach every thing they can on air cooling . all they can do now is make them bigger and add more Heat Pipes to them and that just adds weight like this monster .

or this one .

I think that hangin 2+ LBs of steal from your mobo is just too much IMHO water cooling is far better any way but it looks good and should cool any CPU fine . I just think that air cooling has reached an impasse .

LOL! I better get out the sabre saw and cut a ghetto hole out of the side of my case window!

Seriously, though... Unless you have a top-of-the-line CPU, how do you warrant spending so much on an air cooler when you could otherwise spend the money on a faster CPU that would perform just as well on stock cooling?

its funny you mention that.. if thats better then a true, then good news for us :) this cooler had no problem handleing my old q6600 at 3600mhz with 1.4875v, id see loads of maybe 60c.. but if i run this chip over 4400mhz, the heat it makes is intense, upwards of 70c, its surpriseing actually.. heheh. i thought this cooler would last forever, hopefully it would be a worthy replacement

damnit.. its only for intel comps -.-
i wonder how well it does against a lapped/washer modded true.. hopefully someone on the forums could do a real review.

Will this thing mount on an AMD socket? Doesn't look like it from the article.

so when you overclock your not quite top of the line cpu you don't melt a hole through the bottom of your motherboard (or random crashes/BSOD's related to heat)
