second is how should i set up the smp clients? i really dont wanna mess with vm's and dont have space to install them. for now im just gonna run 4 of the single core clients but forogt the tag to bind them to a certain core.
 
I am not sure with the gpus, but for the single core set each to a different machine id. You can then use an affinity locking program. Thats how I used to do it. I think in the console version they ask you about cpu lock or something.
 
Just use the 285 and seriously...Please check the notfreds VM thread you can have that set up in 20min tops. Even if you only use one, it will be more productive then 4 of the regular clients.(Well it would be close)

Those are not SMP's in that screenshot right? The ppd look like the SMP flag was left out.

Did you want to run SMP work units?

Which client is that? You would just need to add the -smp flag.
