For those who have the antec 900.
I was able to drop the temp of my i7 from 100c, to 93c at 100% just by flipping the top fan over so it is blowing air down instead of pulling it out.
I didn't change anything else. Thought that was something that might help someone who can not afford to spend 70+ bucks on an aftermarket heat sink for the i7.
Intel was dumb as all **** to send this proc with such trash for cooling.
That alone is enough to take a harder look at AMD for my next proc.
That might hold you over until you can afford to spend 300+ on a water cooling system. Although i've always understood water cooling to be expensive, and high maintenance.
