So, I recently bought a new desk, it's a big mocha-black colored L-shaped thing. I really like it a lot, and not being as young as I used to be, I could care less to see my computer, but still care that it runs well, and cool. My dilemma is that the desk has an enclosure, which my case fits into with maybe 1" all the way around except for the front, I have to find a way to make the hinges give it more room or something. Anyway, I want to add a few 80 or 120mm fans to the side of the desk, and have my PC power them, maybe even add a fan controller if necessary, buuuuut, being that I want them outside the computer, what's a good way to get them powered? I dont want to use USB, as it's only 5v and low powered. Unless there is something out there that works with USB.
I was thinking some Scythe 120mm fans, i want quiet, yet efficient. Price is not really a concern (as far as fans go, and no I don't want to watercool.....yet)
Any help would be great!
