The objective of this this first part of the contest is to let everyone know that we fold AND THAT WE ARE FREAKING PROUD OF IT!!!

4 simple requirement to get this freebie entry!!!

1. Mention folding in your signature (pease observe signature size restrictions)
2. Mention folding in your avatar
3. Mention folding in your location (shown below avatar) [user cp>> edit profile>> location]
4. post in this thread the words "Folding Rocks!!!" In a size and color of your choosing...
5. ummm... possibly win a GTX 295!!!!!!

A bounus entry will be given to the most creative Avatar, Location, and Signature.
any posts without "folding rocks" in it will be considered discussion of the contest and not an entry.

*Another Edit* Due to avatar restrictions for new members, any member with less than 50 posts (at the time the contest ends) will be exempt from this requirement and receive their entry anyways.

Rules for April Folding contest
Full disclosure of all rules and all other parts of the April contest will be posted on April 1st.

Rules for April Folding Contest Part#1
1. you need to satisfy the following requirements by the end of the April folding contest (may 4th).
...1A. Mention FAH in your avatar, signature, and location...
...1B. Post in this thread.
2. New members with a post count of less than 10 on may 4th that are not participating in any other aspect of the folding contest, not folding for Team32, and are not contributing to any other aspect of OCForums (Boinc team, Benchmark Team, contributing front page articles) may have their entry revoked.
...2A. This rule is put in place to catch loopholes and keep the contest fair, not restrict new members from participating. If you have any concerns about this rule, PM me, I will gladly hear you out. This rule is subject to change if there is a consensus that it should be changed. Towards the very end of the contest this rule may be lifted so that members than join on the final couple of days still get a chance to participate. Additionally if you are caught by a moderator spamming your way to 10 posts, your entry will be revoked.
...2B. Anyone that violates any forum rules governing avatar and signature restrictions may have their entry revoked.
3. All total entries earned from the April Folding Contest Part#1 will be combined with any other entries earned with any other part of the April Folding Contest. All entries received from all parts of the April Folding Contest will have an equal chance of winning all prizes from a drawing at the end of the contest period. A Detailed list of prizes will be announced on April 1st (however I can say that at this time we do have a GTX 295 to give away).

I just made a slight change to the contest rules such that new members with too low of post count to have an avatar will be exempt from the avatar requirement. However, It would be encouraged to get a folding avatar when you get your 50 posts because folding just rocks that hard!!!!

ozzlo Senior Spartaaaaaan Join Date: Mar 2002 Location: Folding in Eugene, OR	I just made a slight change to the contest rules such that new members with too low of post count to have an avatar will be exempt from the avatar requirement.
