The Barracude 7200.11 isn't that the HDD with the faulty firmware that has been all over the internet? It was in this months Maximum PC as well.

The firmware problems only occur on certain versions of the firmware (which can be found both printed on the drive and in System Properties) and Seagate has released a patch to fix it which, as far as I know, has been completely successful (though their first attempt at a fix only compounded the problem).

I've had two CC1H 1.5TB drives for around four months now and I couldn't be happier.
