OK, So I have one of these sitting here....can it be used in a regular desktop system?

I guess Im just looking for a use for it.....

its Mini PCIe...so its pretty much not gonna plug into my motherboard...
I dont know of any adapters available either...:(

i havent seen any adapters my self... there are some mitx boards they have mini-pcie connectors but they are not cheap and require mobile cpus to be used. i would put it up on the bay or something for someone that wants to try out ssd in their eee pc.

Yea I would ebay it and take the money personally. The EEE PC SSD is a low performance drive optimized for cost, its not going to have the performance benefits that the laptop/desktop SSDs show.

My eee pc use a so called ZIF contact for its 8GB SSD. For those there are adapters to be found.
