Reserving game incentives?

Are there any incentives for reserving games anymore? I can't seem to find any special stuff for reserving anything. I'm looking into Ghostbusters, Batman, UFC, Wolverine, hell anything.
Has anyone seen any free hats, a sticker, anything?

I.M.O.G.: I'm sorry to inform you that your sig violates forum rules. Due to obscene, and frankly ugly, choices of colors you must change this. I suggest brown and orange perhaps.
lol JK... Congratulations on your season. Greetings from Cleveland, the home of "There's always next year".
cw823: I think you need to edit your sig, this could finally be a year for a Cleveland team. Go Cavs!

I only reserve big games that I want to play like WOW and the Xpacks, EQ2 etc etc, when they came out, just so I would have them as soon as was possible.

Never reserved games to get free stuff, just to get them sooner.

Sometimes you can get a few bucks off, but that's quite rare too.

Like CGR, I reserve games that I really want the first day they come out.

Unless it's a Wii game or you live in a one horse town, there is no need to reserve anything. I can walk into any of the 10 Meijers, 10 K-Mart, 20 Target or 50 Wal Marts in town and get whatever I want on release day, Wii excluded.

Speaking of reserved, I went and bought a game and saw they had boxes stating reserve God of War III release date 3/10/10... WTF???? Like I'm going to reserve something a year out. Who even knows if it'll make its' street date? It may be the next Gran Turism0 5 and be delayed YEARS.

A lot of times you get a 10% discount or so when pre-ordering games on Steam or other DD services, but if you are talking about pre-ordering retail, Target has just started a pre-order incentive program where you get a $5 target gift card when you pre-order, more info here: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/58184

Still not enough to convince me to buy retail instead of buying on Steam or Impulse though.

This is upsetting. I want some cool gamer swag. Especially Batman.
I remember the days you could get a free t shirt with your pre order. Maybe a guide or two, at least a bonus disc with extras....
