Edit: well I found this post here that says the quad core insert has a negative effect on temperature. Anybody else have findings that mimic this result?

I ordered a few new items the other day which should be arriving today and tomorrow:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Yorkfield 2.66GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1100
DFI LP DK X48-T2RSB PLUS LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard
D-Tek Fuzion v2 with a Quad Core insert
MX-2 TIM

I was planning on setting it all up and redoing my WC loop on Friday but now I'm reading that the quad core insert for the Fuzion may not be all that beneficial. I did some searching and found this article which people referenced:

No tests were ever done on a quad core though. Does anybody know for sure whether the quad insert is a waste of time or should I install it? Obviously I could always test it myself, but why reinvent the wheel? I'd prefer not to have to disconnect/drain everything once I get it situated. :)
