Does anyone know if this cooler is any good? as i am looking for a LGA1366 cooler which uses push-pins installation type or something similar that does not involve me ripping out my motherboard for installation.

Please dont preach to me about how bolt-thru coolers with backplates are better blah de blah... i'm sure they are better but thats not the point of this thread. I am not a hardcore overclocker, nor am i a bencher, i'm just looking for a mild OC capable cooler which is better than the stock intel one i have at the moment.

cheers!

this thread has been up for 18 hours and not one single person knows a push pin cooler for LGA1366? :screwy:

cooler might do good not to sure, if you look here
http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews.php?reviewid=742&pageid=2
while they dont show close up of the install. i have to assume the push pins use the LGA775 spacing. as the that board in the pic is the exact same one im use and it has both LGA775 and LGA1366 holes for mounting.

or you could get this little kit
http://www.xpcgear.com/scythe-scclv-core-i7-intel-lga1366-retention-mounting-clip-adapter.html
or this one
http://www.xpcgear.com/scythe-sccl4-core-i7-intel-lga1366-retention-mounting-clip-adapter.html
then buy one of the hs's listed to work with either kit...

*edit*
atm the is the only other cooler i could find that uses push pins
