well heres another one, this desktop will be portable so i can take it to school and use it there, i know i could get a laptop but i tend to forget to charge the battery when i dont use it, also im building this cause the school computers suck

they want the students to use programs like photoshop or 3ds max on computers with a P4 and 1 gig of ram...

anyway heres what i got

Cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103648

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133035

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166

Hard Drive:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136283

dont know what psu im going to get but thats it for now :)

What's the budget? Go with a quad over the triple if you can afford it.

I would go with this case. It is a little bigger but a much better case. Those 60mm fans on the Thermaltake are going to cool like crap and be noisy.

well i was planning on replacing the fans anyway and also im wanting this to be portable hence why i chose a case with a handle on it, also dont really have a budget but i dont really need a quad

In that case, buy this motherboard and transplant the rest of the components from your current system and call it a day.

this is a different build as thats why i chose amd, the system is my sig is my gaming desktop, this one im working on is school related, also i dont do photoediting or 3d modeling
