Intel ICH9R on Tyan S5211 doesn't have heatsink

I've recently bought a Tyan S5211 mobo.
All the images I've seen show the ICH9R with a heatsink attached.
My question is... does the ICH9R need a heatsink?
If it does, why did Tyan not put one on it?
What is the best way to attach one?
Can I use a heatsink off an old mother board?

I would ask tyan support about it. Generally servers have higher airflow as noise does not matter so who knows, but you could just tick a heatsink on it in case it gets hot.
