Is this a "same inventory, different store fronts" deal, ala newegg = chiefvalue?

Looks like everyone seems to be in agreement then. If they open up their stores, then they will just be another CompUSA. Not that around here that would hurt, because they are about 15 miles apart.

More options is always great especially for B&M. BB is the only thing left around here for me aside from general retailers and obviously the latter don't carry nearly as much, and even BB doesn't have as good a selection, nevermind prices. Microcenter has a moderate number of B&Ms but none close enough to me. If they open up some CC locations as CompUSA or reopen CC locations as CompUSA clones that will be great.

My dream would be for Fry's to go nationwide

This seems to be pretty common these days with some investor buying the name of some bankrupt company. CC, TD and CompUSA all suck. Overpriced on everything except generic crap and refurbs.

They had the 4GB flavor of that MicroSD Card setup at NewEgg for $8 a little while back. Was tempted to get one for my Samsung Eternity.
(AMAZING deal on DVD+R spindle though)

If Fry's goes nationwide I will crap my pants! Put one in Memphis, TN please lol. Never actually been to a Fry's, have a friend who works at one in Plato, TX though that said if I ever drop by and need something he can get me a deal on it off wholesale price. Since I'll be near College Station within like a week I might just do that :P

Has anyone done any direct comparing to other etailers? Is this just a TD pricing clone or are there actual deals to be had. I'll keep it in mind for myself and post if there is anything good, I'm just not looking for much atm.

lol it was probably a pricing error :P

Now that netbook isn't really worth it. I got one similar to that (sligtly smaller screen and hard drive for 299 a while back)

And Ill give another vote for Fry's going nationwide and microcenter too (since one is near me already)

Man with a Fry's, Microcenter and BB all within 15 miles of me I would be set
