I was thinking about getting this cooler, with the 775 backplate but on the egg the reviews say this HSF can get in the way of ramsinks etc, is this an AMD problem? Or will this become a problem for my 775 build?

Anyone have this cooler with experience to share?

The motherboard I will be using is the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P

Thanks again everybody

I don't have a Gigabyte, I use an Asus P5Q, but this cooler sits pretty high... maybe 3/4 of an inch above the board when its on the CPU. I like it and it does a very good job cooling my Q6600.

+1 for me.

there's no issue on any p45's with any of the xigmateks that I have ever seen, if you mount it left to right airflow wise.
