I have this setup:
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=7725125
I used the stock CPU cooler because at the time, there were very few decent aftermarket coolers available. However, I would like to install one now before summer hits, and the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 looks like a solid CPU cooler. However, I was reading that motherboard removal may be necessary.
In my Lian Li case, it looks like there's some holes cut out in the motherboard tray near where the CPU is located; a few horizontal slots and one vertical slot. Does this mean I should be able to just slide in the back-piece needed for the cooler? And what process do I need to follow to safely remove Intel's stock cooler? This is my first powerful PC and I'd like to get the most out of it.
