Everglide s-500 headphones?

I came across these headphones on sale for 20 from 100 or so and decided that its either a steal or something i can let the girlfriend use. My question is, are they "good" enough for the auzen forte? I personally have never heard of the brand and most of the reviews are from 2006. They will be used for mostly gaming and music. Any input will be appreciated.

To me, the sound fantastic w/ the forte compared to the plantronics gamecom 777's. The thing is though, i dont have anything to base my sound quality judgements off of.
