Ist or AVG better?

I have Avast & love it, but I have the blocker on & it pops up a box every time it wants to delete/rename or format. This is a good feature, but like yesterday I was in a game & it was annoying. Ofcourse I don't want to lessen my security.

i like Avast.. but avg is very good too .. Also look up: avira is kinda of nice

Well can I turn of the blocker on the standard shield & be safe still? I don't want my files being messed with.

I moved from AVG to Avast to AntiVir (Avira) in the past few months, and Antivir seems to the best of the lot from my unscientific observations. So far, I've never had an infection, so all of them must have done their jobs reasonably well.
AVG had some trouble with automatic updates when I was using it (Ver 8.xx.).
