Im new to this RAID thing. I currently have a seagate 500G on a dual boot. But want to try out Raid0. I have an ASrock aod790 motherboard. Would I be able to do Raid0 with a new identical harddrive? Or would I need 2 new drives? Would I also be able to partition the drive for a dual boot ?

Thanks
:attn:

yes you can create a raid 0 with a new drive, however you will have to clear the disk first so you may want another to back up to. yes you can partition for a dual boot on raid

So i set up Raid 0 on an asrock aod790. But when i go to boot the OS disc it dosent boot from it. It's set up to boot from disk but just says to insert boot disk. what am i missing
