is it worth getting this ram?

thats it i already have 2gig but i can sell it no prob if i get the 4gig
would i notice any difference or not?

The difference would be very small, probably would not notice it except in benches. Did you try upping Gold to 1000 MHz or so (would need some voltage bump)?

ive had it upto 900mhz with small voltage increase but didnt wanna push it to much cos of heat, got temps better now so could be time,
will i be better just keeping the 2 x 1 gig sticks or getting 2 x 2gig sticks
