Server 2008 or Vista Ultimate?

I do have a license for Server 2008, actually 2 licenses (standalone and VM version), as well probably could nab another 1 year key from someone else I know that has it and doubt will use it.

Question I have is, there a benefit of running Server 2008 vs Vista Ultimate? I'd be putting this on a file/htpc system. All I know is I must have media center accessibility on it.

Not sure if I'd install 32 bit or 64 bit version yet... still contemplating that since the system will only have 2Gig of ram.

well for a media center prob vista would be a better choise. but if u want to install media center on win 2008 http://www.win2008workstation.com/fo....php?f=11&t=61
