Prime95 load for i7 920 @ 205x20 with Vcore=1.3375V.
Cooler: TRUE 120
Core Load Temps with Real Temp 3:
#0 - 92C
#1 - 91C
#2 - 89C
#3 - 86C
There seems to be a huge difference between the 4 cores (6 degrees C). Could this be due to gravity pulling the TRUE down so that it pivots ever so slightly on the CPU so that the top half has less contact than the bottom half? How are the cores #0 to #3 orientated on the chip?
Or is this more likely a bad thermal compound application (Arctic Silver 5) in which case i should re do it?
