Hi everybody, I have come across a problem, on my uncles Fugitsu Siemens Amilo laptop, I recently formatted it for him, as he got a new sony vaio, and I reinstalled xp, however, it wont connect to the internet except through dial-up.. of which I havn't even tried.
In the device manager it has yellow beside the ethernet controller, I have tried downloading drivers from other websites on the other laptop and putting them on the laptop, but it just doesn't seem to work, saying intel cant find the ethernet adapter, so no changes were made.
Now, it worked right before the format, so I know the laptop is fine physically, this is just driving me up the wall :/ any help is appreciated.
