case lighting

some one point me the right direction when it comes to case lighting

i have a LOGISYS CS888UVBL the full acrylic clear uv case
and i had some uv cold cathodes but i could never get then to light the right way they always eather seemed to bright or to dim

first built i stuck them in the front

then i put them on the bottom of my desk out side of the case

then when i built my new desk they went to the back side of the case on the outside

but one off them recently died so its time to figure some **** out lol

i like the look of it behind but i want the inside to light up just a lil not jusyt ambient light

why dont you add more than just 2 cathodes??? i think you need atlest 4....(2 pairs)

or how about uv leds? they have strips of them on ebay if you try to buy them at frozencpu they want a arm and a leg for them...at ebay their about 10 bucks for a huge strip

their most commonly used on cars but they will work fine on a regular molex connection

i was actually thinking about getting a actual black light like a 2 footer or something and mounting it on the ceiling

if this was a normal windowed case i would have just goten some blue cold cathodes

maybe do 4 12" on the back side the just a couple small 4" on the inside to high light spots
